Victorian Garnet & Pearl Bangle

A stunning and intricately designed Late Victorian 15ct gold bangle featuring two brilliant cut and well matched garnets. The beautiful central X motif, a universal symbol  for love or a kiss, is inlaid here with delicate seed pearls. Gold rope detail edges the top of the bangle, with further fine rope details wrapping the sides. A truly rare and ravishing statement piece. 

Bangles were tremendously popular Victorian accessories, frequently worn two or more at a time, often on both wrists, just as we style stacked bracelets today. 

This exquisite hinged bangle has an inner diameter of 5.1 cms, a gold safety chain, and closes with a tongue and groove clasp.
