Fleur Fairfax believes in the power and the magnificence of jewels already in existence; that by re-imagining antique treasures, fewer new stones need to be mined. Our antique conversions and Regency Revival collection proudly use only 100% recycled gold.
All new FF pieces are handmade by our expert casting and enamelling partners in London’s Hatton Garden. As a member of the Goldsmiths Company Assay Office, all FF jewellery is Hallmarked to ensure the finest quality.
Jane Fleur Strang Steel
FF is the dream second act and a career renaissance for Founder & Director Jane Fleur Strang Steel.
Jane grew Fleur Fairfax out of a love of the Georgian age, a life-long passion for antique jewellery and eventually the study of Gemmology.
Jane’s dedication to the Georgian ethos is the spirit of Fleur Fairfax jewellery – poetry, prosperity, sentiment, and style.
"I am reviving Georgian treasures; modernising while keeping that direct link to the past. What would these originals look like if they were being designed today? What might be retained and what might differ? How would the concept evolve utilising contemporary materials and techniques? And how can I make this piece of history relevant once again? These are the questions I ask of each item I wish to re-imagine, and the journey begins from there."
