Agate Friendship Fob

This delicate and meaningful Victorian gilt cased seal is set with a rich, red agate stone, the intaglio depicting 'FRIEND' and the image of a tall ship (friendship). Illustration and representation such as this spoke volumes for the sentimental Victorians. 

An incredibly personal and declarative statement, this seal features ornate chased decoration, a carved bracket with a suspension loop. The Fob is 9ct gold, and comes suspended from a new 9ct gold, 18" rope chain.
